Generation Press

Before summer I prearranged with Anand from Generation Press a studio visit. I emailed him to confirm dates, but unfortunately it turns out it's a very busy month for them and they simply didn't have the time for me to come down. Instead we agreed for me to visit during reading week in October, I hope this is possible and will email him again closer to the time.

Come Find Us

John from Woolgather art collective arranged for us to have a stall at Come Find Us, which was an art and design based street party held at Melbourne street studios. This got us talking to even more creative contacts and again broadened our audience and InPress' exposure.

Unity Day

Thanks to Rebecca from marketing we managed to secure a stall at unity day. It was a lot of fun until it started to rain and we had to pack up early. The space for the stall ended up costing us £25 and unfortunately we didn't end up making our money back, but we were involved with something different and got our name to a new audience nonetheless. I was really happy with how the stall looked, and Nathan (a freelance artist who we met through Woolgather art collective at the end of year shows) kindly made us a spray painted InPress sign. We also sold some of Alex's work, a freelance artist that we met at inc. workshop, and got to know him better.
