Studio visits

Me and Francesca have decided to email studios together, as we both have very similar tastes in design and have places to stay in London. We also started InPress together, so we can use the branding and work from that to encourage studios to take us on.

The first studio that we both really like is No Days Off in London. I have followed their work for a while and Francesca agrees that it would be a great place to visit. So we made up a PDF to email to them, along with a picture of the InPress work we are sending over.

The next studio is Loligo. I absolutely love this one and really want to get the chance for a visit. They are a screen printing studio based in London. The woman who runs Loligo also co-founded Open, a studio space shared with a group of illustrators. I think that would also be a great place to visit. For now we are going to just email about Loligo to open up a dialogue, and we will ask about Open if w get talking.

A studio that Francesca found is called The Church of London. I have had a look at their website and work and really like the look of it and agree with their work ethic and view on creating sustainable design.
After further reading on their website, we found that a graduate from our course works there... even better! We asked Fred for his contact details and we will email him a similar PDF as the others.

InPress stamp

We have decided to make a stamp for our business cards and to use on our prints. I have found a great website that produces custom made stamps.

Stamp for business card.

Stamp for prints.

I have estimated the size, but I think to save money we could even have the same sized stamp (smaller one for £14.95) for both the business cards and the prints.
