Today's rational.

Scale/frame/format

Today we got feedback for our most recent brief, scale/ frame/ format. I got really good feedback, saying that it was legible from far away and at a small scale.

The only thing is, I would like to trace it and draw it onto nicer stock and neaten it up a bit. I will get on with for next week.

Today I got feedback for my final three images that I produced for articles in The Guardian newspaper.

My favourite one by far was the image I produced on Illustrator for the 'Doctor, Doctor' article. I think the colours work well together and I am confident enough with my Illustrator skills to create something professional looking. I also got very good feedback for this image, my crit group said that it works well with other elements on the pages and that it looks like something that would usually be seen in The Guardian paper. This was great feedback, as the main objective of this task was to produce images in context, that work well with its surroundings.

I am not very happy with my photograph of the coins, photography isn't a strength of mine and I'm not very passionate about it. This image was also quite rushed as I started to run out of time.

I am happy with my Facebook heart logo, it is a simple concept but visually it works well with the article.
